During these unique eight days cultural study tour we take you to the inside of Turkey. Here you witness the roseharvest and we distillate our own roseoil in a traditional way. In this cultural and creative week there is much to enjoy. The beautiful mountain territory, full of nice odours and colours will make you forget your daily worries. The lovely climate, the hospitality and the warmth of the people will strike you.

Around Isparta, you will find a quite special area. Where previously the lava flowed, there are fields overflowing with rose gardens. These roses are the ancient Rosa Damascena or the Turkish Damast rose. The oil from this rose is processed to render the precious ethereal rose oil. Every year in the period of May until June, the rose harvest takes place. Early in the morning around sunrise, young and old are in the fields picking the roses. Later in the day these rose leaves are processed in the distillation factories to become rose oil, an aromatic and heart-warming process, in which we participate joyously.
